The Ahmedabad based “Prashant Group of Industries” has won the "Corp Excel Award 2008" which is given under the aegis of the National SME Excellence Award for its outstanding performance and growth rate achieved during the past years in the "Textile and Apparels" category.

The award ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhavwan,New Delhi, on 30th December 2009.
The founder Chairman of Prashant Group, Mr Prakash Shah will be receiving the Award from Union Finance Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee.

The Prashant Group is one of India's leading groups catering to the textile industry and a trendsetter in the field of weaving preparatory. The products introduced by the Group have always been the best in the world.

Some of the company's esteemed clientele include the who's who of the textile industry like, Siyaram, Raymond, Bharat Vijay Mills, Arvind, Alok, Grasim, Dicitex, Abhishek, Abhitex, Precot, Gwalior, A.P. Fashions, KG Fabriks, amongst many others.

In the past too, Mr Prakash Shah has won many awards for quality and developments on behalf of the Group. Some of them include Outstanding Entrepreneur Award and multiple awards for Quality Performance.
