Surat Textile Mills ceases to be sick industrial company

Surat Textile Mills Ltd has informed that : "In response to Company's Misc. Application, a hearing was held on December 16, 2009 and the Hon'ble Bench of BIFR by its order dated December 18, 2009 directed, inter alia, that M/s Surat Textile Mills Ltd ceases to be a sick industrial company, within the meaning of Section 3(1)(o) of the SICA and is therefore, discharged from the purview of SICA / BIFR.
The Un-implemented provisions of Sanctioned Scheme (SS-07), as may be there, would be implemented by the concerned agencies and their implementation would be monitored by the Company. Its products and services include textiles, which include yarn, cotton, polyester, silk, fabrics, georgettes, chiffons, failles and jacquards.
