350 jobs were saved at Linen Supply of Ireland, on account of the High Court's decision, which offered the way to the company to come out from administration.

Linen Supply of Ireland offers textile rental and laundry cleaning services to the companies involved in the industries such as hospitality, healthcare and food; and also supply hygiene equipment and dust control mats.

It has plants in Dublin, Cork and Spiddal, and service and logistics offices in Limerick, Galway and Sligo.

As per the plan suggested by the court, company's two plants in Dublin closed down leaving 200 workers without jobs, and the plant in Rahoon in Galway is also closed. The company faced a heavy demand fall for its services from the hospitality and retail sectors, due to the impact of recession on these sectors.

The schedule, drawn up by the administrator Mr. Kieran Wallace of KPMG and approved by the court, would now pave the way to distribute €5.4 million to 260 jobless workers, from the redundancy fund.
