United Feather & Down and Borghese continue to embody the true meaning of “beauty sleep,” expanding the Villa Di Borghese collection with new spa, travel and bedding products to be introduced during the NY Home Fashions Market, March 8 – 11, 2010.

New products in the Villa Di Borghese collection include pillows and comforters with new botanical-inspired colors and treatments, coordinating sheet sets, and spa-quality accessories, each constructed with luxury fabrics. The pieces can be filled with either Borghese's signature Botanical Down or Botanical Down Alternative Blend, United Feather & Down's proprietary blend of Freshness Assured down or microfiber down-alternative blended with eco-friendly TENCEL Lyocell. Four new color options will be available, as well as TENCEL Lyocell sheeting. Each piece in the collection is designed to allow the consumer to create his or her own sanctuary in the bedroom – a place to relax and truly feel revitalized.

The unique blend of down or down-alternative and all-natural TENCEL Lyocell offers advanced moisture wicking and enhanced thermo-regulation properties that lead to a drier, more comfortable and hypoallergenic sleep environment. TENCEL Lyocell is produced from sustainable Eucalyptus farms with low environmental impact.

United Feather & Down and Borghese introduced the Villa Di Borghese bedding line in Fall 2009, the first such licensing agreement between a home textiles firm and cosmetics manufacturer. The Borghese brand tagline, "The Elements of Life," inspired the collection, which is based on Borghese's notion of elements necessary for a healthy, beautiful life: rejuvenation, illumination, restoration, hydration and relaxation. The line, currently available at Bloomingdale's nationwide, includes a bed pillow and comforter, spa pillow, booties and spa body wrap, each crafted with beautiful 300-thread-count Italian Tile Dobby Cotton in either white or Borghese's signature ivory, finished with a natural aloe vera treatment.
