A MEG plant managed by Honam Petrochemicals, South Korea is likely to be taken off-stream somewhere in the first half in the month of May.
This was revealed to Fibre2fashion by an official source of Honam, who said that the MEG plant located at Yeosu, with a capacity of 400,000 tons per month will be shut down.
He added by saying that the maintenance turnaround will happen in the first of the month of May and the plant will stay shut for a period of 30 days.
