DyStar site taken over by Pulcra

DyStar's production location at Geretsried, Germany, has been acquired by Pulcra Chemicals. The acquisition was announced recently; four months after DyStar discontinued its production, following which, the company fell into administration.

Having bought the site, its facilities and the production plants, Pulcra intends on resuming production from May, informed insolvency administrators of DyStar, Miguel Grosser from the law firm, Jaffe Rechtsanwalte Insolvenzverwalter and Dr Stephan Laubereau of Pluta Rechtsanwalts.

DyStar will continue producing leather chemicals from its other production sites, positioned across the globe. According to General Manager, Pulcra Chemicals, Dr Yusuf Aktalay, the company has a clientele, similar to DyStar, and thus, investing in this location will help, Pulcra harmonize its supply chain and offer new services to its customers.
