Yesim Tekstil has recently signed a memorandum with ÜSIGEM (Implementation and Research Center for the Development of Cooperation between the University and Industry) of Uludag University, initiating a cooperation that will be exemplary for the industry.

The memorandum signed between Yesim Tekstil and ÜSIGEM will serve as an example for the industrialists of Bursa of how the cooperation between universities and industry can gain professional identity. The memorandum is, at the same time, the first memorandum to be signed by ÜSIGEM with a private business.

At a ceremony held at Yesim Tekstil, the memorandum was mutually signed by Yesim Tekstil CEO Senol Sankaya and Uludag University President Prof. Mete Cengiz, PhD.

An important step in the cooperation between the university and industries, the memorandum will ensure an exchange of knowledge and experience between the two institutions. In the framework of the scheduled work to be conducted at Yesim Tekstil under the leadership of Production Director Mustafa Demiralay, postgraduate students at the departments of Textile and Industrial Engineering will gain an opportunity to accomplish projects or join current projects at Yesim.

Furthermore, data and application support will be provided for postgraduate thesis and research work. In this framework, managers and administrators of both institutions will offer each other seminars and training, sharing their knowledge and experience.
