French luxury linen leader for more than 150 years, Garnier-Thiebaut has acquired Hilden America, Inc., creating one of the largest fine linen wholesale companies in North America.

"This is exciting news for the entire hospitality industry," said Jean-Philippe Krukowicz, president and CEO of Garnier-Thiebaut, Inc. "We've joined the most experienced technology and talent to create one company that can provide the highest quality table, bed and bath linens with exceptional customer service."

Garnier-Thiebaut, Inc. maintains its U.S. headquarters in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The addition of Hilden America into the Garnier-Thiebaut company means customers will experience even faster turnaround times, increased selection of stock products and a finishing department now located in the United States [South Boston, Virginia].

Known for having one of the largest inventories in the U.S. of cotton-rich linens and blends for the hospitality industry in its South Boston, Virginia warehouse, Hilden America also has a cut-and-sew room enabling quick turnaround time for non-stock items, customer orders and samples.

As part of the acquisition, Jean-Philippe Krukowicz, former VP of Sales and Marketing for Garnier-Thiebaut Hospitality and Retail divisions, was named President & CEO of the new Garnier-Thiebaut, Inc.

Decorating the world, Garnier-Thiebaut, Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of the highest quality table, bed and bath linens for hotels, restaurants, resorts, casinos and cruise lines. Sample customers include: hotels — Hyatt Hotels, Ritz-Carlton, and Mandarin Oriental; and restaurants of notable chefs such as Michel Richard, Thomas Keller, Joel Robuchon, Alain Ducasse, and Paul Bocuse. Garnier-Thiebaut is owned by the HDM Finance Textile Group in France, a worldwide leader in textiles since 1680 and the largest textile company in Europe.
