As industrialists from various corners of India see an end to the mutiny in Tripura, they are now desirous of tapping the business prospects of the city.

Recently, industrialists from Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, Delhi and Haryana assembled to attend a 15 day-long handloom exhibition, organized at the Agartalas's Children Park. They were able to earn good business deals and also developed linkages with businessmen from different areas.

A trade fair is usually a place where people assemble and sell various products at affordable rates. Also, the customer here gets wider options to choose from, informs an expert.

The intention behind organizing this event was to improve the handloom and handicraft sector, by bringing in more orders. More so, this city has also established itself as a centre, trading various handmade products from different states, thus, giving customers an opportunity to choose from a vivid range of products which, are sold at affordable prices.

The trade fair funded by the Union Textiles Ministry and managed by Manipur Handlooms, was mainly hosted to strengthen the inter-state trade relationships.

There has been tremendous response, both from the side of the local dealers as well as from those, who visited the fair.

The fair provided a platform wherein, people from various surroundings and states collaborated, thereby, facilitating harmony amongst people. This also affirms that, Tripura is a nonviolent state wherein, foreigners are welcomed to explore the state for more trade practices.
