Once the Chinese market reopened, Asian Paraxylene market rebounded. PX imported from South Korea was offered at US $905/ton, and in S E Asian markets it stood at around $925/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, price was in the range of RMB 9700-9850/ton.

Current domestic and international PTA market trends were not optimistic due to macroeconomic situation as PTA industry has entered off-season demand. In the Chinese domestic market, price surged to RMB 7250/ton while imported PTA was offered around $845-850/ton.

Ethylene prices are on the verge of rebound and were assessed mainly in the range of $900-905/ton in S E Asian market, while in F E Asian markets price was around $925/ton but recently demand from LLDPE Market could push the price up, according to experts.

MEG offers increased to $730-740/ton for imported goods, but counteroffers prevailed in the range of $720-725/ton in the Chinese markets. In the S E Asian market offers hovered around $715-725/ton as firm demand continued.
