The Iranian government has reiterated its commitment to uphold the growth of the textile sector in the country, by providing necessary help to viable textile units.
This was announced by the Industry Minister, Mr Ali-Akbar Mehrabian who said that, that the existing textile units and establishing new plants was amongst top priorities of the ministry.
He said that €250 million had been earmarked for the development of the sector and there would be no shortage of funds for textile units which had economic viability.
He added by saying that all those projects which had achieved 40 percent completion would be put in to operations within the next two years.
