Maruzen Petrochemical restarts MEG plant

Maruzen Petrochemical which operates a MEG plant at Chiba in Japan had taken the plant off-stream on May 23, for a routine maintenance turnaround.

According to an official spokesperson of the company, the plant which has a capacity of 115,000 tons per annum has been restarted on June 22.

According to him the plant is currently running at 85-90 percent production capacity.
