EPCH elects Mr Lekhraj Maheshwari as new Vice-Chairman

Mr Lekhraj Maheshwari has been elected unanimously as Vice-Chairman of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) in its 124th meeting of Committee of Administration (CoA).
The EPCH is a national level apex body set-up by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. The Council's main objects are to promote and support the exports of handicrafts from the country and having over 7000 members on all India basis. There are about 1200 exporters of handicrafts in the state of Rajasthan generating employment to the small and weaker section of the society.
Mr. Maheshwari is the first member of EPCH from Rajasthan who becomes Vice-Chairman of the Council. He is also associated with a number of other social organizations such as Member, Managing Committee, Garment Exporters Association, Eminent President, Federation of Rajasthan Home Textile and Handicrafts Exporters, National Secretary, All India Vaish Federation, New Delhi and is active in various social activities.
