Training centre equipped with latest textile technology

The Program in Science and Technology (FINCyT), funded the purchase of textile technology equipment for a total of 279.12 million Nuevo Sols (US $99.79 million) for the National Service Training Industry in Senati.

The purpose of the investment is to promote the development, research and training in textile printing process. Amongst the equipments purchased were automatic and manual rotary textile printing machines, tensioning frames and many other types of machinery.

The Executive Director of the Science and Technology - FINCyT, Dr. Alejandro said that, this equipment is to strengthen the technical capabilities of human resources in the textile sector.

This decision was taken after a survey was conducted among numerous textile companies, which identified that there is a need in the research topic development of techniques for textile printing activities.
