Cloud hits consumer 'soft spot' as TPX unveils new products

Tempur-Pedic International Inc., the leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of premium mattresses and pillows worldwide, announced its TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme is the company's latest best-seller.

Designed for the half of U.S. consumers who prefer a softer feeling mattress, the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection was introduced to complement the company's two other distinct collections -- TEMPUR and TEMPUR-HD -- ensuring the three collections, collectively, provide a Tempur-Pedic solution for every sleep preference.

"We know there is no 'one-size-fits-all' solution with sleep, so we developed the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection for those who prefer a softer sleep surface, and we could not be more pleased by how the collection has been embraced," said Rick Anderson, president of Tempur-Pedic North America. "The Cloud has shown consumers they don't have to resign themselves to the problems associated with pillow tops, like bunching, sagging, and premature wear-out, and that softness does not have to come at the expense of support."

The Cloud Collection features the revolutionary TEMPUR-ES material, which creates a soft, comforting sleep surface while still providing Tempur-Pedic's pressure-relieving support. Introduced in September 2009 with the launch of the TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme mattress, the line has since grown to include the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow, as well as two other mattresses: the TEMPUR-Cloud and the newest and most luxurious mattress in the collection, the TEMPUR-Cloud Luxe.

Additionally, Tempur-Pedic is introducing two new editions of popular products: an enhanced version of The GrandBed by Tempur-Pedic and the new TEMPUR Ergo System. The new GrandBed is crafted from the finest materials, including a silk-cashmere blended top with bronze satin rope trim, and features two generous layers of TEMPUR-HD in addition to a TEMPUR Support Layer for even greater comfort and support.
