In Chinese market, Caprolactam (CPL) prices moved up by RMB 300 / ton and new prices assessed around RMB 21500 / ton. CPL cargoes imported from the Japanese and N W European market were assessed in the range of US $2320-2350 / ton.
Nylon chips prices remained stable around RMB 23100 / ton. Due to higher feedstock price, Taiwanese high speed spinning nylon chip producers increased their contractual offer for August in the range of $2630-2650 / ton.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 25100 / ton, RMB 26000 / ton and RMB 28200 / ton respectively. It is expected that values for nylon filament yarns will keep rising marginally in the coming weeks.
