Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles will take place from 24 – 26 August at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As an important home textiles trading platform in Asia, the show attracts more than 1,000 suppliers from 24 countries and regions. To accommodate the increased number of exhibitors and the new product zones, the show has expanded to ten halls.

"The exhibitor response has been tremendous. I hope the newly-established product zones will bring more business opportunities to both suppliers and buyers," said Ms Wendy Wen, Director of Trade Fairs for Messe Frankfurt in Hong Kong.

Show features new special zones and inspiring design events
A full range of home textiles related products including beddings, curtains, upholsteries and wall coverings will be showcased at the fair. To maximise buyers' sourcing time, the exhibits are clearly signposted by special zones and pavilions. Exhibition highlights include:

• New European Zone with leading brands from Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the Netherland (Hall W1)
• Country and regional pavilions from Pakistan, Portugal, South Korea, Taiwan and Turkey (Hall W1 )
• Designer's Studio with 23 designers from France, Italy, Japan, Korea and the UK (Hall W1)
• Brand bedding and towelling hall with famous brands including Wood Wedge from the UK, Kuan's Living from Italy, Sunvim, Veken and Yuyue from China (Hall W2)
• New interior decorations and wall products zone (Hall E6)
• Chinese regional pavilions from Gaoyang, Haining, Jiande, Nantong, Pujiang, Zhouquan, Shaoxing, Tongxiang, and Yuhang (Domestic Halls)

The 2010 fair will also host a series of design and trend events to illustrate the essence of home textile designs and cultures from Eastern and Western countries.

• The international and China's home textiles and interior trend forums (Hall W2 and W3)
• A Cultural Heritage Zone in Hall E5
• A series of designs and trends seminars led by leading trend forecasters from China, Hong Kong, Paris, Milan and New York

Buyers expect to source new and quality products
To extend even more trading opportunities to exhibitors and buyers, the successful Business Matching Programme will once again be offered onsite. Renowned domestic and international brands including a USA buyer delegation and a group of 200 department store purchasing managers from across China have confirmed their participation in this and other business-boosting initiatives.

“This huge, professional home textile event is one of the only trade shows that we would visit every year in China. Here we can always find suitable suppliers and new products. The organiser's services are very professional and we expect to meet with more potential suppliers at the business matching session,” said Mr Jonathan Zhu, Market representative for Target Sourcing Services.
