Building on the success of its previous European filtration conferences and exhibitions in 2004, 2006 and 2008, EDANA (European Disposables and Nonwovens Association) is pleased to announce the programme for the 2010 edition of FILTREX, to be held in Cologne, Germany on the 13th and 14th October, 2010.

The conference programme features commercial and technical papers from 18 authoritative speakers including a keynote presentation by Jeffrey Scott Saunders, Futurist for the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies (Denmark) on “EDANA Nonwovens Vision 2020 and the possible future for filter media”, a megatrends analysis and outlook for the filter media value chain.

FILTREX 2010 will attract delegates from producers of all types of filter media, raw material suppliers, laboratories and research institutions, making this conference a unique forum, not to be missed.

Speaking about his company's involvement in the event, Dr Joerg Sievert, CEO of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies said “FILTREX 2010 is 'the' event which my company - and also my colleagues from EDANA's Filtration Interest Groups – won't miss in 2010”

A few steps away from the conference area, delegates are also able to discover the latest filtration equipment and processes by visiting the FILTREX exhibition. EDANA is offering a number of fully equipped stands for companies to exhibit with limited logistical preparation, or reserved space within the exhibition for companies to build their own stands.

Companies already confirmed to exhibit include: Ahlstrom, Anowo, Colbond, Delstar Technologies, ELMARCO, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, GRIMM Aerosol Technik, GKN Sinter Metals Filters, Hollingsworth & Vose, Johns Manville, IREMA-FILTER, METSO, Palas, POROTEC, Sandler, TAG Composites & Carpets, and Topas.
