Semi-dull polyester chip market light & quiet

In downstream sector, semi-dull polyester chip market was light and quiet, most polyester factories made no clear offers or their offers were temporarily stabilized at 9,000-9,150 Yuan / ton (cash or acceptance within 3 months).
However, mainstream talks concentrated in the range of 8,950-9,100 Yuan / ton, downstream manufacturers have already started inquiries over large orders, and overall mentality in the market appeared stable on the day.
Mainstream offers of polyester staple fiber in East China were 9,600-9,860 Yuan / ton, talks focused on 9,600 Yuan / ton. Buying intention from downstream sector did not look strong, market sentiment was flat.
FDY offers slightly increased by 100 Yuan. Currently mainstream discussion of polyester POY was 10,750-10,850 Yuan / ton, FDY was around 11,400 Yuan / ton and DTY was around 12,250-12,300 Yuan / ton.
