The knitwear export sector units are currently beleaguered by various issues like increase in cotton yarn prices, accessories prices, dyeing charges etc. and in this, challenging business environment banks support is crucial to sustain in the competitive global market.

In view of this, our President, Shri.A.Sakthivel has sent requisition letters to all Banks Chairman / Managing Directors urging them to enhance the packing credit limit given to knitwear export units by 35% from the existing level so as to tide over the ongoing crisis.

Shri.A.Sakthivel has also sent a requisition letter to Shri. R. Gopalan, Secretary (Financial Service), Department of Banking & Insurance, Ministry of Finance to advise all banks across the board to increase the packing credit limit by 35% from the existing level.
