VSF prices expected to rise higher

In recent days, market sales as well as prices of viscose rayon yarn are on an upward curve. On an average, quotations for various yarns have risen by 300-500 Yuan, of which, price of knitting rayon yarn 30s and 40s have increased to 25,300 Yuan and 26,800 Yuan / ton, respectively.
Based on viscose staple fiber price at 18,000 Yuan / ton, average processing cost of 4,000 Yuan per ton and losses of waste etc while processing, the final production costs of 30s rayon yarn will be around 22,360 Yuan / ton.
Downstream yarn companies can afford a further increase in prices of viscose staple fiber in view of costs. Price of viscose staple fiber has increased from 16,500 Yuan to 18,000 Yuan per ton in recent times and are further expected to hike in the near future.
