Market Center Management Company (MCMC), the management company of GlobalTex: LA International Textile & Sourcing Fair, announced the participation of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the premier textile trade association in Pakistan. TDAP joins more than 20 countries participating in GlobalTex, the largest and most comprehensive international West Coast show.

TDAP will present 15 booths showcasing home textiles, bedding, sheets, towels, fabrics, garments, and synthetic textiles from September 28-30, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), West Hall, Hall A.

"We are pleased to welcome the quality resources from TDAP," said Cindy Morris, COO, MCMC. "This prestigious group's participation will further enhance our reputation as the largest full-scale production and design trade show in the U.S."

TDAP is the successor organization to the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) which was the primary agency of the Government of Pakistan engaged in the promotion and boosting of country's exports. Since EPB's inception in 1963, as an attached department of the Ministry of Commerce, it has continued to facilitate exporters in overcoming difficulties faced by them on the supply and demand side of exports.

GlobalTex features the latest international advancements in fabric, trim, yarn, textile design and garment manufacturing including private label, and manufacturing technology. The show attracts leading designers, product developers, retailers, and wholesalers. In addition, the show offers helpful tailored networking services and practical seminars that support the global fashion and design industries.
