Cradle to Cradle working towards greener textiles

Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute based in California, in an attempt to develop a market for green chemistry which would not only take care of environmental and human well being, but also boost the economy.

The Institute plans to impart training to no less than 100 assessors and to grant certification to 1,000 consumer items by 2015.

The Institute working on a “No Profit, No Loss” basis, was formerly known as Green Products Innovation Institute.

The institute is active on the front of developing broader metrics and standards for day-to-day products like clothing and textiles, which are highly eco-friendly.
