Investment in hemp sector up in 2010

China's hemp textile industry received a combined investment of 1.525 billion Yuan (projects with investment over 500 million Yuan) from January to July 2010.

This is up 12.70 percent year on year, an increase of 21.40 percent compared with the growth level of 2009, when it had recorded a negative investment growth rate of 8.70 percent.
