Propylene trends dip sharply, ASF stable

In Asian market, propylene price moved down sharply by US $25 / ton and touched the level of $1135 / ton and in European market price was assessed around €915 / ton. Propylene price declined in the Japanese and Korean market also and assessed at $1140 / ton and $1130 / ton, respectively.
In Far East Asia, Acrylonitrile (ACN) price stood at around $1995 / ton. In US market, price of ACN was in the range of $1950-1975 / ton, whereas deals were concluded below $1950 / ton. Many buyers quoted price around $1900 / ton, but it was not accepted by the sellers.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price stood steady around RMB 20900 / ton. Spot price of ASF 1.5 Den was largely quoted around RMB 20,250-20,900 / ton. ASF 3.0 Den was offered at RMB 20,050-20,700 / ton. There was still low buying interest as buyers adopted wait-and-watch attitude.
