ACN buyers adopt wait & watch attitude

In Asian market, propylene price remained steady around US $1135 / ton and in European market, price was assessed around at €915 / ton. Propylene price in the Japanese and Korean market was quoted around $1140 / ton and $1130 / ton, respectively.
In F.E.Asia, Acrylonitrile (ACN) price stood at around $1995 / ton. In S.E.Asia, ACN price was assessed around $2015 / ton. USG (FOB) price was assessed around $1950 / ton and Med (CIF) price was around $1910 / ton. Buyers preferred to maintain hand to mouth inventories, to take an advantage of price reduction in short term future.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price stood steady around RMB 20900 / ton. In Taiwan market, ASF 1.5 den was quoted around $2.70 / kg. In US market, ASF 1.5 den was offered at around $3.20 / kg.
