How to make sure you get paid is the topic of a business seminar being organised by the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) at its new Bloomsbury, London, headquarters, on 17 November.
In just 90 minutes Timothy O'Callaghan of solicitors Arnold Fooks Chadwick will explain how to get the law on your side; Joey Jackson of The Jackson will share advice as an active exporter and also look at the issue from a buyer's perspective; and Peter Ayling of HSBC Invoice Finance will explain the benefits of invoice discounting, while often regarded as the “ultimate protection” for more established exporters in other sectors, it is being more widely adopted in the fashion industry.
The seminar will be held from 4pm to 5.30pm at 3 Queen Square, London WC1N 3AR. Registration is from 3.30pm and the event will conclude with networking drinks in the new offices.
From Monday 18 October 2010 UKFT will be based at 3 Queen Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 3AR.
