Fashion Snoops collaborates with Color Solutions

Color Solutions International (CSI), the world's most accurate color communications and service company and Fashion Snoops, the premier online fashion, accessories and home décor trend forecasting service, announced a strategic partnership designed to better service their joint customers. The companies will introduce joint programs to support retailers and manufacturers from the early stage of color forecasting and palette building to the communications of color standards throughout global production chains.

As a first step Fashion Snoops will implement CSI's color references on its forecasting site (fashionsnoops.com) to enable those already using the CSI color system to immediately integrate carefully-selected color recommendations to their color palettes. Fashion Snoops will also be incorporating CSI's color technologies on its site to allow users of fashionsnoops.com to analyze the color ranges of any image on the site, match colors to the CSI ColorWall system, choose and order color references - all with the click of a button.

“We are excited to be closely collaborating with CSI”, says Lilly Berelovich President of Fashion Snoops. “As a leading trend forecaster we aim to provide our customers with concise and actionable color direction. We are also well aware of the difficulties that can occur in color production and recognize that often the colors of shipped goods are quite different from the colors that were selected.” adds Lilly. “The Integration with CSI's technology solves this problem; it allows us to communicate color recommendations knowing that our customers have the formulas and tools to execute the colors with high accuracy, just the way we recommended them.”

In addition to site integration, the companies intend to introduce (starting Spring 11) a series of seasonal color cards with CSI references to the must-have seasonal colors by color ranges and palettes.

“In today's economy where production cycles get shorter, fast and reliable color development is more crucial than ever,” says Ron Pedemonte, President and CEO of Color Solutions International. “Teaming up with Fashion Snoops allows us to guide our customers in making the right color decision. It also allows us to prepare in advance the right color references, thus make it faster and easier for our customers to develop their color standards.”
