J&K to draw investors with attractive sops

Jammu and Kashmir State Minister for Commerce and Industries, SS Slathia, recently stated that the State Government proposes to provide the investors with all incentives obtainable pursuant in the central and state industrial policies, so as to motivate them to start units in the State.

The government is employing all its efforts to extend such incentives to outside investors.

The Minister while delivering a speech at a function wherein 39 entrepreneurs were assigned land for setting up small scale industrial units in the Silk and Handicraft Park at Zakura in J & K, stated that, this outside investment would help in solving the State's unemployment issue.

Amongst the units to be set up at the park, include, reeling, twisting, weaving, warping, yarn dyeing and processing units which all have linkages which each other.

Slathia also stated that, project proposals from domestic investor's for setting up units in the park would be prioritized and they could also avail of all incentives.
