Propylene continues to slide, ACN ascends

In Asian market, propylene price continued to decline. It touched the price level of $1110 / ton in S E Asia, while in European market it increased to €912 / ton. Propylene price declined in Japanese and Korean market to $1150 / ton.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price was stable at RMB 21700 / ton. Price of Acrylic tow remained unchanged while Acrylic top was stable around RMB 22500 / ton.
Acrylonitrile increased in tandem with downstream demand. In F E Asian market, ACN price was assessed at $2085 / ton. In S E Asia, price was around $2100 / ton. In Chinese domestic market, price of ACN was around RMB 20000 / ton.
In Indian market Acetonitrile was quoted around INR 86 / Kg + 2% CST (ex-bhivandi).
