ActiveGuard Mattress Liners are the first EPA-registered mattress and box spring liners that kill bed bugs dead within 72 hours. The liners, available online, at retailers and from any pest management professional, are manufactured by Allergy Technologies.

With the national bed bug epidemic seemingly getting worse on a daily basis, Allergy Technologies proudly announces that its ActiveGuard mattress liners are now an integral part of any pest management program to kill bed bugs in a residential setting.

ActiveGuard mattress liners have quickly become a popular tool that pest management professionals are recommending to residential customers battling bed bugs. As part of a comprehensive bed bug control strategy for active infestations and as a standalone preventative tool, ActiveGuard is changing the landscape of available approaches to combat this pest.

"ActiveGuard mattress liners are literally the only liners registered to kill bed bugs dead within 72 hours, and they can save consumers the cost of replacing mattresses and box springs," said Gus Carey, founder of Allergy Technologies. "The liners, fashioned as a simple fitted sheet, come in four easy-to-install sizes that fit any size mattress or box spring, which kill bed bugs, but also dust mites for up to two years.

"The liners are already being used in college dormitories, public housing, apartments, homes, hotels and other locations because they deliver a quick punch to the bed bug problem. Unlike encasements, ActiveGuard mattress liners are thin, comfortable liners that are odorless and unaffected by tears or rips in construction."

Originally developed as a natural extension of the globally used mosquito nets, by a team of research entomologists, ActiveGuard is an effective tool that kills bed bugs in mattresses and box springs.

The breathable, thin ActiveGuard liners can be installed onto a mattress or box spring by one person in less than a minute, and the liners are comfortable and provide security that no other mattress covering or product can deliver.

"ActiveGuard mattress liners require no maintenance or follow-up and are proven effective against bed bugs – and they are affordable," said Carey.

Available online, through retail outlets and directly from any pest management professional, ActiveGuard mattress liners require no airborne sprays or powders and save consumers from the costly replacement of box springs or mattresses.

ActiveGuard mattress liners also have been lab and field tested on a variety of bed bug strains by research entomologists. It is one of the few bed bug products with both published lab and field data.

Allergy Technologies is a subsidiary of A. Carey Co. LLC, which focuses on using philanthropy as a core business strategy for its businesses. Through its Philanprofit (SM) strategy, a portion of all ActiveGuard proceeds go to help fund inner-city homeless and women's sheltersand asthma clinics.
