Asian benzene markets up on Wednesday

In China, domestic benzene market was light amid steadiness on Wednesday, negotiation atmosphere appeared dull.
In the Asian markets, benzene price rose US $8 from the previous day to settle at $936-939 / ton (FOB Korea).
In Chinese market, market offers in East China were 7100-7200 Yuan / ton, in South China they were quoted at 7100-7200 Yuan / ton and in North China PTA was assessed at 7100-7200 Yuan / ton.
Domestic pure benzene market was stable, due to the influence of higher international oil prices and external offers, holders became reluctant sellers, as offers were light and discussion atmosphere was dull.
Sinopec refineries are expected to hike their prices; therefore, market participants expect that short-term market conditions of domestic pure benzene may be based on consolidation.
