Abax Systems' rolled textile storage – a technology breakthrough

The moving rolled textile storage system that the Abax Systems offers has been designed in such a pattern that it can safely store rolled textiles in an effective and condensed manner, while facilitating accessibility and greatest safety.
The system includes an extruded aluminium frame fitted with adjacent adjustable support brackets for every single pole. Such design makes it possible to easily and flexibly adjust it in any vertical position.
The storage tracks are prepared from electro-galvanized steel to ensure better durability, and not even seven kg of force is required to put a completely overloaded unit into movement on the tracks so that it can be easily reached.
The system can be wall mounted, or can even be embedded on a ceiling or floor, while free-standing post and beam systems are also made available as per the requirements. Also no tracks are laid on the passageway. Moreover, Abax Systems never compromises with the security and protection of museum and collection staff and floor space is also kept free.
The trolleys are covered with silicone rubber vibration dampeners which isolate the vibration to provide protection to stored textiles. These dampeners moderate the vibrations in all directions.
The company has successfully concluded the task of installing the system in over 250 museums, across the globe.
