Filippone taps Jerry Pradier as CEO of EnviroTextiles

Barbara Filippone, Founder and President of EnviroTextiles (ET) in Glenwood Springs, CO, has tapped local entrepreneur, Jerry Pradier to be the CEO of this growing international company. EnviroTextiles is the pioneer in the development of hemp and hemp blend textiles as well as other natural fiber products and is the industry leader in the efforts to improve corporate responsibility and transparency in manufacturing processes and labeling.

Ms Filippone has been at the forefront of the design, manufacturing and importing of heavy duty upholstery hemp fabrics, hemp t-shirts, and hemp blend textiles for the past decade. Her Chinese hemp fabrics and European hemp fabrics are produced from exceptional quality natural hemp fiber and hemp yarns.

In her capacity as President and Owner of the company, Ms. Filippone will work primarily out of ET's international offices and focus her attention on research and development of new products and new markets for natural-fiber products. She will also coordinate international logistics to support the retail and commercial sales efforts. Finally, she will devote much of her time to expanding the charitable efforts of ET by establishing and growing the charitable foundation she envisions.

As CEO, Pradier will focus on strategic direction of the company in coordination with Ms Filippone's vision as well as on marketing and branding efforts and serving the enterprise commercial clients of ET. Pradier comes to this position after working for two and a half years with Filippone as business mentor. He has a wealth of experience in managing a variety of organizations of up to 400 employees in multiple international locations. He has also negotiated contracts for the US Government with other countries.
