Registration is now open for ICA Dubai event

The International Cotton Association (ICA) is now accepting bookings for its Dubai 2011 networking and conference event, which is taking place on March 15/16 at the Ritz Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre.

Marking another mile-stone in ICA history, this event will be the first of its kind to be held in Dubai and, based on the success of previous events – 'Singapore 2010' and this year's 'Going Global' trade dinner in Liverpool, the ICA believes that delegate places will be in demand.

Kai Hughes, ICA Managing Director explains: “Our aim with Singapore 2010 was to provide a unique opportunity for the cotton community in Asia to come together – to learn more about the market, to network, to make new contacts, to do business and to debate the important issues affecting our industry. We certainly achieved that.

"The event was a complete sell-out and feedback from delegates indicated that they wanted another networking event at a location that was easily accessible for the global cotton community. Dubai is a natural choice and the Ritz Carlton International Financial Centre will provide an ideal venue, with excellent facilities and high levels of service.”

The theme of Dubai 2011 is 'Open to the World' and the two-day programme aims to provide delegates with plenty of opportunities to network and to do business. There will be a selection of topical and informative presentations over the two days, plus a networking reception on March 15 and a gala banquet on March 16.

Kai adds: “We want Dubai 2011 to be accessible to all – buyers, sellers, merchants, producers and mills, both large and small. Our aim is to continue to build on our international credentials and encourage participation from the entire cotton community. We sincerely hope that staging this event proves that we are listening to all segments of the industry.”
