Russia's petrochemical export duty swells

The levy on export of ethylene, propylene, propane, butane, butylene, butadiene and other liquefied gases totals to US $118.1 per ton from 1st December. Russia's crude oil export duty also registers a hike of 4.5 percent to touch $303.8 per ton from 1st December.

The export levy on oil produced in East Siberia is expected to touch $108 per ton from the present $98.8 per ton. A similar export duty is likely to be imposed on the oil produced in North Caspian region.

Export duties on light oil products are expected to increase up to $217 per ton whereas the same on heavy oil products are likely to boost up to $116.9 per ton.
