The Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal (FHAN) is gearing up to organize the Handicraft Promotion Week 2010 between December 8 and 14, 2010, in order to develop its handicraft market.
As stated by FHAN, the event would mainly aim at developing enduring business relationship between the sellers and consumers so as to boost the handicraft business.
Also, it would target the promotion of distinctively designed as well as latest handicraft items, which usually do not find a market in spite of their exportable quality.
Various handicraft products including those made from gold and silver trinkets, cotton, stone, metal, woollen and felt products would be showcased at the event, together with natural fibre, wooden items, handmade paper, Pashmina and ceramic items.
