Japanese textile delegation to visit India from Dec 16-18

The Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO) aims to further the strengthening of the competitive power of the Japanese textile and fashion industry, to encourage its growth and increase Tokyo's reputation as the world's textile and fashion base by promoting excellent Japanese textile and fashion products, and comprehensive information around the world.

JFW-Japan Creation is a steering committee set up to provide business opportunities where quality buyers worldwide get together to explore accumulation of high value added Japan roducts such as high creativity, high quality and high performance and to contribute to build an attractive international center for fashion business as a core international textile exhibition by enhancing integrated textile trends, information and promotion.

Infinity Creations, established in Tokyo in 1982 by Indian entrepreneur, Atul Parekh and one of Japan's creative designers, Kazuo Ogawa, has over the years introduced and initiated an exchange of a wide range of Indian and Japanese creative talents and products, including jewellery, fashion, craft and culture.

The delegation will be meeting a wide range of leading importers, traders, manufacturers and designers as well as representatives of organizations including CMAI, TEXPROCIL & AEPC during their visit to Mumbai from December 16 to 18, 2010.
