With the addition of GreenScreen Revive, Hunter Douglas Contract now offers the most sustainable window shading fabric on the market. The fabric is made of 100% PVC-free polyester and contains a minimum of 89% REPREVE fibers. GreenScreen Revive will be available to the market January 2011.

GreenScreen Revive fabric is made with REPREVE polyester. REPREVE is made from 100% recycled materials making it one of the most earth-friendly ingredients you'll find anywhere. When compared to the production process of virgin polyester, every one-pound of REPREVE polyester yarn conserves the equivalent of 0.4 gallons of gasoline. Every yard of GreenScreen Revive uses 11 post-consumer bottles.

“Adding GreenScreen Revive to our extensive selection of roller shade fabrics extends our commitment to produce high quality products that deliver significant environmental benefits,” said Rich Ries, General Manager, Hunter Douglas Contract.

GreenScreen Revive highlights:

• 100% recyclable with 89% REPREVE recycled polyester content
• Available in 1% and 3% opennesses and eight colors
• Fabric width: 118”
• Excellent solar control capabilities; reduces glare and reflects light, while allowing clean outward visibility
• Fire Retardant (NFPA 701, CSFM Title 19)
• One Yard of GreenScreen Revive uses 11 post-consumer bottles
• Low-VOCs
• Made in the USA

For more than 60 years, the architecture and design community has specified contract products from Hunter Douglas, the world leader in window coverings and a major manufacturer of architectural products. A tradition of bringing breakthrough products to market makes Hunter Douglas the choice for an array of innovative contract solutions.
