Magid Glove & Safety, America's leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of work gloves, protective clothing and safety equipment, delivers cut resistant sleeve wearers the best of both worlds – protection and comfort – with the introduction of CutMaster Aramax Sleeves. Offering double-ply cut resistance in a single-ply construction, these one-of-kind sleeves are machine knit from Magid's very own Aramax and Aramax FR Yarns in the company's Chicago manufacturing facility.

Consisting of a unique spinning technique and a special combination of para-aramid, fiberglass and synthetic fibers, Aramax Yarn has up to two times greater cut protection and abrasion resistance than yarns of a similar weight made from 100% aramid or other cut resistant synthetic fibers. The high level of performance offered by Aramax Yarn allows Magid to knit single-ply sleeves that offer the same level of cut-protection offered by double-ply sleeves with the added benefit of superior comfort-enhancing characteristics. Specially designed to wick moisture away from the skin and to allow more air transfer, CutMaster Aramax Sleeves keep the wearer cool and comfortable during even the longest shift.

“Magid CutMaster Aramax Sleeves are designed and manufactured to offer excellent, cost-effective protection in a construction that workers will want to wear,” said Adam Cohen, executive vice president of Magid Glove & Safety. “By understanding the critical role that comfort plays in worker compliance with safety standards, Magid offers buyers with solutions to their personal protective equipment needs that work in both theory and practice.”

Boasting Cut Level 4 cut resistance, Magid CutMaster Aramax Sleeves are available in lengths from 14 to 24 inches, as well as with or without a thumb slot, for the ultimate in flexibility in fitting today's diverse workforce. The new sleeves are also able to withstand multiple launderings without compromising performance, further extending the life of the product and yielding a low total cost of ownership. Ideal applications for these sleeves include automotive manufacturing, durable goods manufacturing or any general purpose application where sharp objects are being handled.

For customers that require flame resistant (FR) cut protection, Magid also offers a wide selection of CutMaster Aramax FR Sleeves knitted from a special FR formulation of Aramax Yarn. Offering a high Cut Level 3 cut resistance, CutMaster Aramax FR Sleeves deliver excellent FR and cut protection with great single ply coolness, breathability and comfort. Like its siblings, the FR versions of the sleeves feature excellent durability and are available in lengths from 14 to 24 inches, as well as with or without a thumb slot.

Proudly made in the USA, Magid CutMaster Aramax and CutMaster Aramax FR Sleeves possess a distinctive green coloration and include rubberized tape in conjunction with overedge thread on both ends for added reinforcement, increased comfort, security and a more polished look. Priced to offer cost savings versus existing 100% aramid machine knit styles, all Magid CutMaster Aramax and Aramax FR Sleeves are available for immediate shipment.

Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Magid Glove & Safety is America's leading manufacturer, importer, distributor and direct supplier of hand protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), first aid products and protective and disposable clothing.
