Ethylene & MEG trends rise, PX stable

Paraxylene prices were stable in S E Asian region and were assessed around US$ 1650/ton due to firm support by upstream and hovered in the range of US$ 1640/ton to US$ 1650/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1645/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1650/ton.

Asian PTA price marginally increased today. Price increased to the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1440/ton. In Indian market PTA price was around US$ 1470/ton.

Ethylene price rose in S E Asian market and stood in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. F E Asian price was in the range of US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In European international and domestic markets price was stable at US$ 1400/ton and € 1105/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market price was around 44.50 cents/pound.

MEG price increased in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1197/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG was in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton.

BGPET Chips remained stable in S E Asian region; prices hovered in the range of US$ 1775/ton to US$ 1785/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1775/ton to US$ 1785/ton for the imported goods.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1745/ton to US$ 1755/ton. Price in Indian market assessed in the range of US$ 1760/ton to US$ 1765/ton.
