The Delta Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (DACCIMA) has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to immediately take the necessary measures to release the south's share of N100 billion textile and apparel funds.
David Iweta – the President of the association expressed his displeasure over the inaccessibility of the fund for the industries which are located in the southern region whereas the industries in the north have already received 50 percent of the fund which is equivalent to N50 billion.
The appeal was made by Iweta, while he was speaking in a business meeting with the government of Delta State held recently in the city of Warri.
