DyStar is proud to announce the opening of a Global Auxiliary Competence Centre at its DyStar India facilities in Rabale, Navi Mumbai. The center was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Balakrishnan, Head of the South Asia region.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Steve Barron, CEO of DyStar group commented, “This is another important step in the growth of DyStar within South Asia and globally as we add to our range of services available to the textile industry”. The Centre will further build on the auxiliary expertise in DyStar which started with the acquisition of Rotta and Dr. Boehme. It will focus on the development of new auxiliaries and effects through finishing and coating application for its customers in South Asia and rest of the world.

DyStar has always been involved in product innovation, focusing on high quality, sustainable and cost effective processes and has continued to invest in R&D. It has established several competence centers in key textile centers such as the USA, Turkey and Indonesia. The newly set-up Global Auxiliary Competence Center in Mumbai is equipped with state-of-the-art wet and dry processing machineries for fabric application, testing, laundry as well as training facilities.

“This is another feather in the cap for DyStar post the turbulent period. It speaks of our commitment to the Textile Industry with innovation,” said Mr. Bart van Kuijk, CMO, in his message.

The center complements the existing technical service facilities and the CSI Colour Studio which are located within the same DyStar India premises, making it one of its kind, comprehensive, all under one roof facility catering to the requirement of the entire textile supply chain i.e., mills, laundries, designers, colorists, textile and fashion institutes. The facility as a whole fulfills the needs of many stages of the textile supply chain, from color development and design through wet processing, finishing and testing.

Formed in 1995 as a specialist for the textile industry in textile coloration, DyStar has transformed itself into a solution provider. DyStar offers customers a complete range of auxiliaries, colorants and expert services. Our team of well-trained staff and modern service labs in major markets ensure that customers all over the world receive fast and expert technical service.
