The Chinese domestic pure benzene market prices were stable on Wednesday. However, negotiation atmosphere appeared dull.
In the Asian markets, benzene fell US $4 from the previous trading day to close at $1177-1180 / ton (FOB Korea) on March 1.
In China, market prices in East China marked 8450-8450 Yuan / ton, prices in South China stood at 8400-8500 Yuan / ton and in North China quotes were around 8200-8300 Yuan / ton.
Lower prices of international crude oil and overseas offers had a certain impact on Chinese domestic market. Procurement of downstream users was limited.
Market participants expect that short-term market conditions of Chinese benzene may maintain high-level consolidation.
