PX trends plunge, ethylene & MEG stable

Paraxylene price sharply went down in S E Asian region. Price was in between US$ 1740/ton US$ 1745/ton. In F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1735/ton to US$ 1745/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1745/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood around US$ 1740/ton.

Asian PTA price went down, in the range of US$ 1520/ton to US$ 1525/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In Indian market, PTA price was quoted around US$ 1520/ton. In Chinese market, price of PTA was assessed down in the range of RMB 11450/ton to RMB 11500/ton.

Ethylene price remained stable in S E Asian market and was assessed in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In European international and domestic market, price was stable at US$ 1565/ton and € 1205/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market, ethylene was around 54.55 cents/pound to 55.25 cents/pound.

MEG price remained stable in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG declined to the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In Chinese market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9550/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region. It was in the range of US$ 1930/ton to US$ 1940/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1935/ton to US$ 1945/ton for goods to be exported.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1850/ton to US$ 1880/ton. Price in Indian market was assessed in the range of US$ 1820/ton to US$ 1845/ton.
