AMANN GROUP will exhibit on Texprocess in hall 5.1 – B71 at Texprocess 2011 on 24 - 27 May 2011.

Looking to the future, the AMANN GROUP, one of the world's leading manufacturers of sewing and embroidery thread, has made a strategic decision to strengthen its position on Asian growth markets.

To better serve the Chinese market's needs, and accelerate delivery times, the company has constructed a cutting-edge production facility in Yancheng, in Jiangsu Province, 270 km northeast of Shanghai.

AMANN Twisting (Yancheng) Co. Ltd. has a twisting capacity of around 2700 tonnes of thread per year from polyester or polyamide filaments.

AMANN Sewing Threads Co. Ltd. – a state-of-the-art thread production facility with fullyautomated dye house – has a capacity of 3000 tonnes a year, and can offer all steps of a fully-integrated production, including customer-specific dyeing, or dye-to-match, which is in strong demand in Asia.

All manufacturing is carried out to European quality standards – and, accordingly, will be certified to ISO 9001.

AMANN Bangladesh Ltd., a joint venture with the STANDARD GROUP, will enable the AMANN GROUP to penetrate a further emerging market in textiles with significant growth potential. To this end, the company is building a new fully-integrated production facility in Mawna, Gazipur, which will have an annual capacity of 3000 tonnes.

From 2013, the new factory will produce top quality sewing thread in line with AMANN's German quality standards.

A new production site in India is also on the drawing board. AMANN's sales organisation is currently processed by offices and warehouses in Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi.

The AMANN GROUP is a global player with operations in more than 100 countries around the world. Working closely with our customers and their producers, we have a strong focus on emerging markets and growth opportunities.
