PX, ethylene & MEG bounce back

Paraxylene market, bounced back in the Asian market to US$ 1635/ton and price continued to move up in tandem with energy market. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1640/ton and US$ 1650/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1635/ton to US$ 1640/ton. In Korean and in Chinese market, it stood around US$ 1635/ton.

Asian PTA price remained unchanged and was assessed in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In F E Asian region, PTA was quoted at US$ 1445/ton. In Indian market, PTA stood around US$ 1450/ton. In Chinese market, price of PTA declined in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11450/ton.

Ethylene price shot up in S E Asian market and was marked around US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1305/ton. F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In European international and domestic market, price was stable at US$ 1590/ton and € 1145/ton, respectively. In USA market, ethylene was quoted around 65.35 cents/pound to 65.85 cents/pound.

MEG price went up in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1115/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG declined to around US$ 1110/ton to US$ 1115/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8950/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region and was assessed around US$ 1895/ton to US$ 1900/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1900/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 13600/ton.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets remained stable in the range of US$ 1795/ton to US$ 1800/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1790/ton to US$ 1795/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 13200/ton.
