PX, MEG & FGPET chip prices fall, ethylene ascends

Paraxylene market went down to US$ 1595/ton and price continued to move down in tandem with energy market. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1595/ton and US$ 1600/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1600/ton to US$ 1605/ton. In Chinese market it was around US$ 1605/ton.

Asian PTA price rose and was assessed in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian region, PTA was quoted at US$ 1430/ton. In Indian market, PTA stood around US$ 1435/ton. In Chinese market, price of PTA declined in the range of RMB 11050/ton to RMB 11075/ton.

Ethylene price went up slowly in S E Asian market and was marked around US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1320/ton. F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1315/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In European international and domestic market, price was stable at US$ 1585/ton and € 1145/ton, respectively. In USA market, ethylene was quoted around 59.35 cents/pound to 59.85 cents/pound.

MEG price went down in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1125/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG inclined to around US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1130/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region and was assessed around US$ 1885/ton to US$ 1895/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1895/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 13600/ton.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets turned soft in the range of US$ 1770/ton to US$ 1775/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1750/ton to US$ 1755/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 13200/ton.
