Designer and Illustrator Kathy Weller of WellerWishes Illustration & Design announces a new partnership with Northcott Silk, Inc., manufacturers and worldwide distributors of quality fabrics for the quilting, craft and home sewing markets.
Weller's debut fabric collection features her character property JiveCats, a trend-forward brand that celebrates fashion, culture and urbane lifestyle details with a fresh and modern twist.
“JiveCats is a healthy representation of what WellerWishes has to offer in the way of character brands, and to be debuting the brand as my first collection with Northcott is pure serendipity”, Weller says.
The collection is tailor-made for today's home sewers and quilters who enjoy flirty, fun, character-based art with a strong element of sophistication and a spark of child-like naiveté.
Kathy will debuting the JiveCatsart collection for licensing at Surtex NYC at the Javits Center, May 15-17, 2011, in booth #455. The JiveCats fabric collection by Northcott Fabrics is set for a Fall 2011 release.
