Shawn Berry to spearhead textile producer Standard Fiber

Leading bedding textile manufacturer, Standard Fiber LLC, with headquarters in both San Francisco and Shanghai, has recently expanded their hospitality group in North America with the addition of hospitality industry veteran, Shawn Berry.
In this newly created position, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing- Hospitality, Mr. Berry will lead Standard Fiber's further push into the global hospitality where he has helped create winning global partnerships with leading franchisors, ownership groups, management companies, and distributors.
He reports to Standard Fiber President, Sandy Gray, out of the San Francisco office. Mr. Gray added, “We are thrilled to add someone who has such a breadth of hospitality experience, with an intimate knowledge of the industry and how key partnerships are structured.”
Over the past decade, few companies have impacted the world of home textile manufacturing like Standard Fiber. Founded in 1998 by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs with strong ties to the Chinese textile industry, Standard Fiber was the first to combine U.S.-based product design, customer service, and technology with state-of-the art processes and low Chinese production costs. Within 15 years, the company grew to be one of the largest producers of bedding products, generating over $200 million in annual sales and shipping more than 4,000 40' containers of bedding products in the year 2010 alone.

One Shanghai office maintains a showroom, production management, quality control and merchandising for our export customers. The second Shanghai office and Beijing office oversee the China domestic consumer and hospitality bedding textile businesses, operating under the name Anshuibao/Somerelle.
